Magnesia bricks description
Magnesia bricks are a kind of alkalescency refractory bricks that made from the sintered magnesium with its content of 87%-97% and that are combined with silicate. Since its combination composition is mainly CMS-M2S system, its Load softening temperature is low and thermal shock resistance is poor that determine its application is few. But magnesia bricks are widely used in the furnaces and kilns that have alkaline atmosphere. The essential properties of magnesia brick depend on the nature of the raw materials, the mineral composition, microstructure and closely on the density of the products.
According to the physical and chemical index, there are two grades of Magnesia bricks we can provide.
Magnesia bricks application
The products have the properties of bearing high temperature, high refractoriness under load and good resistance to alkali. They are widely used in the basic zone of metallurgical furnaces, nonferrous furnaces and regenerator of glass furnaces.
Our exporting quantities for the CSA China cement and calcium aluminate cement is around 30000 mts per year.
Our refractory products include refractory bricks and mortars, insulating bricks and some auxiliary materials for iron, steel and foundry such as calcium aluminate slag and carbon raisers.
